Dance first, think later. It’s the natural order. – Samuel Beckett
Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement. – Aldous Huxley, The Art of Seeing
This set of workshops is designed to emphasize the value of taking bodywork into the natural outdoor environment. The facilitators are dance and movement therapists who are already adept at working outdoors.

Eileen Boyle gave me your contact details. I facilitate the Dances of Universal Peace monthly in Malahide or by invitation elsewhere. On April 23rd I am bringing over my Dutch dance teachers to do a day of Dances with us in the Apple Loft of All Hallows College. I am a close friend of Barbara Collins who has trained with Sandra Reeves .
Dear Anne – good to hear from you. Yes I believe I met Barbara in Sligo a few years ago?
I am in contact with one other facilitator of Dances of Peace – I wonder if its the same network?
It’s something we are considering. Best wishes. RB x
Hi I’ve loved dance all my life, have attended numerous workshops, trained as a Laban Community Dance facilitator, worked with many wonderful teachers of the 5 Rhythms movement meditation practice including the founder Gabrielle Roth and especially with Catriona NicGiolla Phadraig.I love zumba too and i’d love to dance at Common Ground!
Dear Bernie – I know the 5 Rhythms practice. We are considering dances for peace as an option. There will definitely be opportunities to dance.
And I have just updated the site with the good news that Sandra Reeve is offering Environmental movement which is very much resonant with what Common Ground is about. RB
I’d be interested in this.
Hi Marilyn – we have a couple of facilitators interested and thinking about the workshop they might offer. This work will be central to the culture of Common Ground – the ethos and practice of embodiment is important to us. RB
